At Taneesha and Prachi NextGen Publication, we’re looking for a talented Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator who can create page layouts for print or electronic publication. Can edit text by correcting its spelling, punctuation, and grammar. DTP Operator often can work with other design, media, or marketing workers, including writers, editors, and graphic designers. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current book layout software and be skilled in every step of the text layout process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the DTP Operator should be able to take written and convert them into a design that connects.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Format and layout book layout following established guidelines.
• Enhance visual appeal by typesetting text, inserting graphics, and manipulating images.
• Proofread and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Should have previous experience in Hindi & English Typing.
• Should have hands-on experience in Adobe inDesign & Photoshop.
• Knowledge of publishing with regard to the specification of page size, binding and cutting area (Trim and Bleeds).
• Should have hands-on experience in typesetting, Layout, designing of inside text pages, and cover designs for textbook publishing.
• Work experience from any textbook publishing firm or graphic design agency or similar fields would be preferable.

Requirements :

• Proficiency in software such as Adobe Softwares (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of typography, typesetting, Layout, designing of inside text pages.
• Knowledge of Grids and Guidelines in InDesign and Microsoft Office.
• At least 1 year of experience in typesetting and book layout work.
• Experience as a Desktop Publishing (DTP) operator or in related field.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles.

Qualifications :

Minimum Intermediate or Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline will be preferred.

Experience :

Min. Experience Required : 0 – 3 Years in Any Similar Field

Work Schedule :

Shift Timings : 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM
Working days: Working Days (Monday – Saturday)

Salary :

Fixed Salary : Rs. 9,000 – Rs. 12,000 / Monthly
