All rights to the author’s work remain solely with the author. Taneesha and Prachi NextGen Publication, through its imprint Lumora Scholars Publishing, operates under a non-exclusive publishing model.

This means that we do not claim ownership of your content. Authors retain full intellectual property rights and are free to publish, distribute, or reuse their work elsewhere without restriction.

Our role is to facilitate professional publication, distribution, and visibility by connecting the author’s work with appropriate platforms and readers.

Once the publishing process is initiated, our team undertakes all essential stages, including manuscript review, formatting validation, ISBN allocation, and distribution setup.

The complete publishing workflow typically takes 30 to 45 working days, depending on the readiness of the manuscript and approval timelines. Upon completion, the book is published and made available across leading eCommerce and academic distribution platforms.

Lumora Scholars Publishing follows a demand-driven Print-on-Demand (POD) model, where copies of your book are printed only upon confirmed orders.

This approach ensures continuous availability of your book without the challenges of excess inventory or stock shortages. It also allows for efficient production and distribution based on real-time demand.

Through its parent organization, Taneesha and Prachi NextGen Publication collaborates with a network of global printing partners to facilitate timely printing and delivery to readers across different regions.

Authors publishing with Lumora Scholars Publishing are entitled to royalty based on the sales channel and distribution model.

For domestic sales, authors receive 10% of the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on each copy sold. For international or global distribution, authors receive 50% of the net earnings generated from each sale.

Net earnings are calculated after deducting applicable costs, including printing, distribution, platform commissions, and taxes charged by respective sales channels.

In simplified terms:
Net Earnings = MRP – Production Cost – Distribution Charges – Platform Commissions – Taxes

Royalty is calculated on this net amount for global sales, ensuring a transparent and structured royalty framework.

The Minimum Selling Price (MSP) refers to the base price threshold required for listing and selling your book across distribution platforms. This price is determined after accounting for essential components such as printing costs, platform service charges, packaging, applicable taxes, and distribution fees.

Authors have the flexibility to set the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) above this minimum threshold. Based on the selected MRP, the estimated author earnings are calculated across different sales channels.

For shorter publications, specific minimum pricing criteria apply. Books with fewer than 100 pages must be priced at a minimum of ₹299 for domestic distribution and $15 for international distribution to ensure eligibility for listing on major eCommerce platforms.

Failure to meet these minimum pricing requirements may restrict the availability of the book on distribution channels.

Lumora Scholars Publishing follows a structured and transparent reporting framework, ensuring authors have clear visibility of their book’s performance through scheduled sales statements and dashboard access.

Authors receive quarterly sales reports for domestic distribution and semi-annual reports for global distribution. These reports include key details such as copies sold, revenue generated, and any royalty amounts due. In addition, periodic sales updates are accessible through the Author Dashboard for continuous tracking.

For domestic distribution, reports for the January–March period are issued within 60 working days after March, those for April–June within 60 working days after June, for July–September within 60 working days after September, and for October–December within 60 working days after December.

For global distribution, sales statements for the January–June period are provided within 60 working days after June, while those for the July–December period are issued within 60 working days after December.

Lumora Scholars Publishing follows a structured and transparent royalty disbursement system. Royalty payments are processed on a quarterly basis for domestic sales and on a semi-annual basis for global sales, and are transferred directly to the author’s registered bank account via NEFT or IMPS in Indian Rupees (INR).

For domestic distribution, royalty payments for the period January to March are released within 90 working days after March, for April to June within 90 working days after June, for July to September within 90 working days after September, and for October to December within 90 working days after December.

For global distribution, payments for the period January to June are processed within 90 working days after June, while payments for July to December are released within 90 working days after December.

Once the author provides final approval for publication, the book is processed for listing across domestic eCommerce platforms, including major marketplaces such as Amazon India. In most cases, the initial listing becomes visible within approximately 10 to 15 working days, while full availability across platforms is typically achieved within 15 to 90 working days, depending on platform processing timelines.

For global distribution, the book’s metadata is systematically shared with international retail partners and distribution networks. The listing generally appears on major global eCommerce platforms within 6 to 8 weeks. During this transition phase, temporary variations—such as incomplete metadata, missing cover images, or intermittent listing visibility—may occur as part of the standard synchronization process across multiple systems. These discrepancies are automatically resolved once all partner platforms complete their updates.

While Lumora Scholars Publishing, under Taneesha and Prachi NextGen Publication, ensures timely submission of metadata, the final speed and accuracy of listings depend on the respective policies and technical workflows of individual eCommerce platforms.

Authors may request additional copies of their published book by covering the applicable printing cost along with shipping charges. Upon confirmation of payment, Lumora Scholars Publishing initiates the print process and arranges delivery to the author’s registered address.

To avail author-specific pricing, a minimum order quantity of 10 copies is required. Requests below this threshold are processed at standard retail pricing and may not qualify for author copy rates.

The combined printing and dispatch process generally requires approximately 15 to 25 working days, depending on production and delivery timelines.
